I Found It/ I Can’t Find It

I named this series I Found It / I Can’t Find It because that’s how it feels. Like I’ve touched something I recognize but can’t explain. A feeling tied to something older than me. I felt it in a market. In a gaze. In the way light fell on someone’s back. It stayed for a second, then disappeared. I don’t know what it is, but I know when it’s there. This work is me trying to follow that feeling before it slips.
